BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
Samuel Patton Hicks (1859-1921) was the son of Wesley Fletcher Hicks and Caroline Green Fitch of Sullivan Co., TN.  In 1888, Samuel married Laura Ellen Hickam (1869-1937), daughter of William and Iva Hickam.
