Bessie Vestal "Bobbie" Hawk was the daughter of Robert Hays Hawk (1899-1971) and Julia Grace Ford (1898-1983).  Robert Hays Hawk was the son of James Meredith Hawk (1838-1926) and Sarah Amanda Hayes of Sullivan County, Tennessee.
